You will embark on a wonderful cultural experience,
visiting the factory lead by women from the
community of La Union who produce cassava,
which is a cassava tortilla, a Garifuna’s traditional
food.

You'll get to know the traditional process, the
instruments they used, the properties and
preparation of this gastronomic heritage of the
Caribbean, as well as its process of flavoring and
commercialization. and even make your own
casabe. And of course, you'll get to taste it!

You can also enjoy a pleasant moment with the
producers of Casabe, who will share their best
recipes during the workshop. Discover how to
integrate the Casabe to contemporary cuisine,
preparing delicious canapes. And snacks or
preparing your own recipe.
